A distinguished personality colloquium organized by the Institute of African Studies in honor of Sunday Adegeye, popularly known as King Sunny Ade (KSA) was held yesterday at the Conference Centre. The occasion has left an indellible mark on the Institute, the University of Ibadan and also the Vice Chancellor, who said he had looked forward to meeting KSA right from his secondary school days. The Vice Chancellor made this remark when the ace musician paid a courtesy call on him in his office. Thereafter, they both proceeded to the venue of the event.

ANOTHER LIFELINE

Again it is time for fun as this Sunday (last Sunday of the month); 24th February 2013 approaches and the docile cosmopolitan city of Ibadan will come alive again with the monthly artistic recreational show; Lifelines Art Show with Tolu Fagbure at Spider Café and Lounge Agbowo Shopping Complex Ibadan with various performing artistes and other arts practitioners thrill the audience with their arts. The show as always will feature a range of performing arts such as music, chant, dance, etc and other creative visual arts like bead making, painting and many more on a PAY WHAT YOU WILL option from 4:30pm till 8:00pm. The show packaged by MACROME NIGERIA, a multimedia content production and provision outfit, promises to be electrifying as it is a precursor to the 1st year anniversary show on March 31st 2013 so if you are in need of a place to go this weekend and have fun then you just might want to be part of this.
